30L Drum Heater Option – 200W

The 200W drum heater jacket is designed for gentle warming, frost protection and temperature maintenance.

This model is ideal for gently heating and maintaining contents at approximately 40–45°C, depending on the application and conditions. Its wrap-around design distributes heat over a large area, helping reduce the risk of localised overheating and product damage.

Which Drum Heater Should I Choose?

Choose the 200W smaller-drum model for gentle warming and temperature maintenance around 40–45°C.

Choose the 300W smaller-drum model when faster heating or applications around 60–70°C are required.

Choose a 1,100W model for 200–220L drums, selecting analogue or digital control and the correct voltage for your supply.

Heating Performance

The 0–90°C thermostat range describes the available control settings, not a guarantee that the contents will reach 90°C.

Actual heating performance depends on the material, fill level, drum type, starting temperature, ambient conditions and heat loss.

Indicated heating rates are:

• 200W smaller-drum heater: 5–10°C per hour
• 300W smaller-drum heater: 10–15°C per hour
• 1,100W larger-drum heaters: 3–5°C per hour

These are indicative figures, not guaranteed heat-up times. Rates for different drum sizes should not be treated as a direct comparison of heater power.

Indoor and Outdoor Use

All models are designed for indoor use. Outdoor use requires an additional cover.

The surrounding air temperature must remain within the selected model’s operating range:

• Analogue models: −20°C to +40°C
• Digital model: 0°C to +40°C

For frost-protection applications involving below-zero surroundings, select a suitable analogue model. The digital model requires surrounding temperatures at or above 0°C.
